Known as "BABAB" -- a citizen advisory board to the City Commission regarding bicycle-related issues.
BABAB's primary purpose is to promote safe and effective bicycle commuting opportunities in Bozeman. We do this by providing input into the documents that govern growth -- both generally (e.g. Transportation Plan Updates; Complete Streets Ordinance) and with respect to specific projects (e.g. N. 7th; N. Rouse). We try to identify maintenance projects (e.g. street re-paving or re-striping) where bicycle facilities can be improved (e.g. Peach Street; S. 8th Ave.). We print the local bike map. Each year we organize Bike Week. And we participate in other events that present an opportunity to promote bicycling in Bozeman.
BABAB meets the first Wednesday of every month at 6:00pm in the City Commission room at City Hall, 121 North Rouse in Bozeman, MT.
